A multiplayer game Alien Farm for CBBC, developed and produced by Solaris Media Ltd. will go live soon. The game, which features collaborative gameplay for 6 to 12-year-olds, enables players to visit different alien planets, choose a team mate and then play one of six exciting missions.

Players take it in turns to herd cute alien characters to safety, whilst avoiding monsters, hazards
and obstacles. The game, which will feature seven different alien species is based on the
Gameking multi-user technology and will host up to 5,000 simultaneous users.

A ten-mission training academy also ensures that players get up to speed in mastering the
various techniques in the game, from space ship piloting and herding to operation of gadgets
such as the attractor field and power fan. Children can chat safely using a unique symbolic chat
system.
